Shipping & Production Policy Makeev Guitars

1. Production TimeAll Makeev Guitars instruments are built to order.

• Standard production time is 6 to 11 weeks from the date the 50% deposit is received.
• Actual production time may vary depending on:
• current workshop workload
• model complexity
• hardware or material availability

If production time changes significantly, we will notify the customer promptly and provide an updated estimate.
2. Payment TermsA 50% non-refundable deposit is required to begin production.

• The remaining 50% balance must be paid in full before shipping.
• The instrument will only be shipped once full payment is received.

3. Shipping

• Orders are shipped after the instrument is completed and fully paid.
• Estimated shipping times:
• Europe, US, Canada, Australia: 1–2 weeks
• Other regions may vary depending on destination and carrier.

Please note:

• Shipping times are estimates only and not guaranteed.
• Makeev Guitars is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs processing, or force-majeure events.

4. Customs, Duties & Taxes

• International orders may be subject to import duties, VAT, or local taxes upon arrival.
• These charges are not included in the instrument price or shipping cost and are the sole responsibility of the customer.
• We recommend checking local import regulations before ordering.

5. Shipping Damage & Risk

• All instruments are carefully packed and inspected before shipment.
• Once the order is handed over to the shipping carrier, the risk of loss or damage transfers to the customer.
• If shipping damage occurs, the customer must:
• document the damage immediately at the time courrier deivers the package (or at the post office)
• contact the carrier directly
• notify Makeev Guitars within 48 hours of delivery

We will assist with documentation where possible but cannot guarantee carrier compensation.
6. Returns & Cancellations Returns

• Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery, provided the instrument is:
• unused
• in original condition
• returned with original packaging
• A restocking fee of 15% of the total order value applies.
• The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
• Original shipping costs and taxes are non-refundable.
• Custom / Made-to-Order InstrumentsInstruments built to customer specifications are considered custom orders.
• The initial 50% deposit is non-refundable once production has started.

7. Communication & SupportMakeev Guitars is committed to transparent communication and high-quality craftsmanship.
If delays or production issues arise, we will:

• inform the customer
• explain the situation
• work toward a fair and reasonable solution
